‘One Seed Revolution’ is a documentary film about the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) which is an innovation in cost-effective agricultural practices.
In a bid to enhance their food security, Dashrathi Senapathi and Savitri Sahu initiate SRI in their fields. They also play an active role in influencing the people of their village to take it up. The NRML team of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and the Allied Trusts (SDTT) have promoted and supported this technique of SRI to farmers across India. For SDTT, SRI is a new window of opportunity for bringing about positive changes in the lives of poor farmers.
