THE J.N. TATA ENDOWMENT
 for the Higher Education of Indians

Scholarships for Mid-Career Professionals 2009-2010.

“..to lift up the best and most gifted…”
 
Applications are invited from mid-career professionals who are Indian nationals, for the JN TATA ENDOWMENT LOAN SCHOLARSHIPS for the year 2009-2010. The Scholarships are intended for higher specialization and training abroad in their chosen field of work. Selected scholars may also qualify for gift awards.
 
WHO IS ELIGIBLE ?
Applicants who are:
I. Indian nationals up to the age of 45 years; and
II. Professionals with a degree of a recognized Indian University and with more than 5 years of work experience who intend going abroad for further research, specialization or training in their selected fields.
At the time of submitting the completed applications, candidates should have the admission / supporting letters from the universities / institutions to which they have applied for the year 2009-2010.
HOW TO APPLY ?
Prescribed application forms will be available from the Administrative Office of the Endowment at Mulla House, 4th Floor, 51 MG Road, Fort, Mumbai 400 001 from 1st October 2009.

The application fee of Rs 100/- may be paid in cash or by a Money Order on which the full name and address should be legibly mentioned to enable the Endowment to mail the form.

Completed application forms should reach the office of the Endowment not later than 31st December 2009.
THE SELECTION PROCESS
After the initial screening of applications, candidates will be short listed for an interview in person by subject experts. The final selection will be made on the basis of the interview which will be held in Mumbai.
